Large single wall box 700 x 500 x 300 mm - 4 mm C-flute at the edge of parcel size

This size sits at the point where a shipment is no longer an ordinary parcel but not yet a pallet. 700 x 500 x 300 mm gives around 105 litres on a footprint of 700 by 500 mm, enough for complete orders or single bulky items. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall mailing cartons and are glad to help you weigh a large box against a pallet shipment. The other sizes sit with the folding boxes.

Is this still a parcel

What decides it is the girth, the length plus twice the width and twice the height. At this format it stays within the parcel class with most carriers. The rate here, though, is set by the volumetric weight of the outer dimensions, even when the contents are lighter.

Typical contents

Consolidated orders: several items side by side in two layers.
Bulky goods: plastic parts, covers, housings and displays.
Storage: archive and seasonal stock that has to go away stackable.

If the contents get considerably heavier, or several of these boxes travel stacked to the same address, double wall shipping boxes are the safer choice. Quantity pricing applies here too, so the price per box drops as you take more.

What is girth and why does it count?

Do I lift this box alone?

Filled, better with two. The 70 cm width means you cannot keep the box against your body, which makes the load on your back unnecessarily high.

Can these boxes be printed?

This version is plain brown. For your own marking most customers work with labels or a stamp, which stays more flexible across changing quantities than a print run.
