Height is what defines this box. On a footprint of 700 by 350 mm, 700 x 350 x 410 mm gives you a good 100 litres of loading space, which makes it useful for goods that take up room without being heavy. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall shipping cartons, and we keep larger formats like this one in stock. The rest of the range sits with the cardboard boxes.
The quality is single wall, 4 mm thick and built with a C-flute. In a box this tall the side walls are the load-bearing structure, and the higher flute gives them noticeably more stiffness than a 3 mm board would. Fill the box right up to the flaps: a half-filled tall box loses part of its carrying capacity, because the walls get no counter-pressure at the top.
With light, bulky goods a carrier charges on the volume of the outer dimensions, not on actual weight. That puts this box in a higher rate band than its low own weight suggests, so pick exactly the height you need. If the contents get heavier, or filled boxes go several layers high on a pallet, double wall shipping boxes are the better choice.

Up to just below the flaps. Only then does the content help support the side walls and the box keeps its shape under stacking pressure. If air is left, add filling material.
Fold the bottom flaps first, stand the box up, then tape the centre seam in one movement. On tall models a dispenser is far quicker than separate strips.
Yes. Score the side walls all the way round at the height you want and fold new flaps. For recurring shipments a flatter model with the same footprint is tidier.
