Single wall box 700x300x150 mm

Single wall box 700 x 300 x 150 mm - long and flat in 4 mm board

Nobody orders a box of 700 x 300 x 150 mm for an average parcel. This is the format for everything that is long and flat and still has to arrive in one piece. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall cartons, and this model keeps coming back for profiles, skirting boards, LED strips, curtain rails and tools with a long handle.

Why 4 mm C-flute at this length

The board is a single flute of 4 mm in C quality: one fluted layer between two flat liners, with a taller wave than the 3 mm grade. In a long box that translates into spring along the whole length, so the side wall does not fold inwards the first time it is loaded.

Volume rather than weighed load

Pay attention to how your carrier calculates. A long box occupies loading space that cannot be sold to another consignment, which lands it in a higher rate band than its modest tare weight suggests. Close it with a strip of tape along the seam and, at this length, across the end flaps as well.

Frequently asked questions

Why does a long box cost more to send?

Because it takes up loading space that no other consignment can use. The rate follows whichever is higher, the tare weight or the volume.

Does a box of 700 mm not bend?

Not when the contents rest along the full length. If the load sits on one point in the middle, slip a strip of board underneath or move up to a heavier grade.

Are the stated measurements internal?

Yes, 700 x 300 x 150 mm is the internal size. The external size runs a few millimetres higher per side, which matters if the box has to fit a rack.
