Long shipping box 550 x 350 x 310 mm - 4 mm C-flute for profiles and tools

Not everything is square. Profiles, battens, tubes, long-handled tools and elongated machine parts need a box that grows mainly in length. This version offers 550 x 350 x 310 mm, so plenty of length on a narrow cross-section. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall cartons and we supply this model in quantity to technical distributors who keep their cardboard boxes in fixed sizes.

Why a C-flute on a long model

The board is single wall, 4 mm thick and run as a C-flute. On a long format the load bears mainly on the long side walls. The taller C-flute keeps those walls straight, even when the contents slide against one side in transit. Close the continuous seam with a strong tape.

Long parts: profiles, rails, tubes and bars up to around half a metre.
Tools: long-handled tools and sets that will not fit a square box.

How heavy can the contents of a long box be?

The bottom seam is the critical point. Spread the load along the full length and tape the underside twice, and 4 mm single wall board carries medium-weight goods reliably.

How does this differ from a shorter, wider box?

A shorter format is more of a block shape. This one is longer and narrower, which suits contents with one clearly longest side. Measure that longest dimension before you settle on a size.

Why are there 25 boxes in a pack?

The pack quantity follows the blank. In this format a bundle of 25 stays flat, easy to carry and simple to store on a shelf.
