Large single wall box 500 x 400 x 400 mm - 80 litres in C-flute

This is the same box as the 300 mm high model, built one hundred millimetres taller. That sounds modest and still yields a third more contents: 500 x 400 x 400 mm comes to 80 litres instead of 60. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for shipping boxes in single wall corrugated, and we supply these tall versions in particular to firms that move light bulk. Why this format gets chosen

Because the board is a 4 mm single wall C-flute, the box stays easy to handle even at this volume. The tall flute gives the long side walls enough stiffness not to fall inward the moment you lift the box half full. This size is picked for light bulk such as foam parts, insulation and plastic semi finished goods, for house moves and stocktakes with a lot of contents per box, and for sealed boxes that stand on a rack for months and have to hold their shape.

What is the difference from the 300 mm high version?

Only the height, 400 instead of 300 mm. Base, board and pack quantity are identical, so you can use both sizes side by side in the same pallet pattern.

How do I load a box of 80 litres sensibly?

Let the volume be the limit rather than the load. Fill 80 litres with solid goods and the box becomes unwieldy for one person and strains the bottom seam more than it needs to.

Will a box this tall stay standing on a pallet?

It will, as long as the columns sit squarely above one another and the load is wrapped. Offset stacks lose carrying strength, and with single wall board that happens sooner than with double wall shipping boxes.
