Some appliances have to stay upright: printers, coffee machines, pumps with a liquid reservoir or units with a vulnerable underside. Those shipments need a box in which the appliance stands the way it is meant to, with room all around. At 480 x 280 x 330 mm this is a common format for the job. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall shipping cartons, and this model is a fixture in our range of folding boxes.

The box is single wall 4 mm with a C-flute. On a tall model the springiness of the wall matters more than on a shallow box, because a drop on one corner travels through the full height. The coarser flute absorbs part of that energy. Pad the base generously, since an upright appliance takes most of its knocks there when the parcel is set down.

Frequently asked questions

How do I keep the box upright during transport?

An arrow sticker helps, but do not rely on it. Pack the contents so that a parcel lying on its side still arrives intact: fill every side and secure loose parts with a strip of tape.

Is 330 mm too tall for single wall board?

Not for light to medium weight appliances. The limit sits in the load and in the stacking pressure rather than in the height. For heavy units a double wall version is the safer choice.

Can I reuse the box for a return shipment?

Often you can. Open the top seam by cutting into the tape rather than the board, so the flaps stay intact and the box can be closed a second time.
