Single wall box 360x240x310 mm

Single wall box 360 x 240 x 310 mm - 4 mm C-flute for tools and spare parts

Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for cardboard boxes in single wall quality, and this size comes mainly out of the technical trade. The ratio of 360 x 240 x 310 mm gives a deep model on a narrow base, handy for tools, tubing, couplings and parts that are packed upright or on edge.

The build is single wall 4 mm with a C-flute. Against 3 mm B-flute the wall is thicker and has more give. That difference shows up with hard contents, because a spanner that shifts in transit works its way through a C-flute far less readily.

Typical applications

• Tools: hand tools, cordless machines in their case and measuring instruments.
• Spare parts: fittings, bearings, filters and fasteners bundled per order.
• Upright items: tins, cartridges and bottles that must not tip over.

Frequently asked questions

What does a C-flute add over a B-flute?

A C-flute has taller and slightly coarser flutes. With a single layer of fluting that gives a 4 mm wall instead of 3 mm, with more spring and a higher puncture resistance. The board does carry a little more mass per box.

Can tools go loose in the box?

Better not. Metal that is free to slide works into the wall with every knock. Fill the voids with protective and filling materials or lay a sheet of board between the items, and everything stays put.

How do I prevent punctures from the inside?

Cover sharp points with a piece of board or an edge protector and keep that side away from the wall. Also avoid standing the box upside down in the stack, because the load then rests on the flaps.
