Flat products belong in a flat box. Put a frame, a panel or a stack of printed matter in a carton that is too tall and the load starts to slide, which means far more void fill than necessary. At 350 x 250 x 100 mm this model follows the shape of the goods. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall folding cartons, and the low heights in our range of folding boxes are there on purpose.

Why 4 mm C-flute

A low box with a large base panel can sag. The C-flute is coarser than the B-flute and gives a wall of 4 mm rather than 3 mm. That adds spring and a stiffer panel, which is exactly what this model needs. Allow for a little more fill volume in return, because the thicker wall takes up a few millimetres on each side.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between 3 mm and 4 mm single wall?

Both have one fluted layer. The 3 mm version uses the finer B-flute and is slightly lighter. The 4 mm version has taller flutes, absorbs more and stays stiffer across large panels.

Will the base sag under a heavy load?

On a flat model the bottom is the part to watch. Spread heavier articles across the whole panel instead of piling them in one spot and the board holds its line well.

Can I fit two layers in this box?

With 100 mm of height that only works with thin articles. Put a sheet of board in between so the bottom layer takes no pressure from the one above it.
