A box measuring 300 mm on all three sides offers a good 27 litres of capacity and packs in a completely different way from a long model: the contents sit centrally and have equal clearance everywhere. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for cardboard boxes, and this cube of 300 x 300 x 300 mm is chosen above all for consignments that take up a lot of space without being heavy.

The construction is single wall of 4 mm with a C-flute between two flat liners. It is the thicker and springier of the two single wall grades, and on a large panel such as 300 x 300 mm you notice the difference: the walls stay straighter than with 3 mm and the base sags less. For genuinely dense contents, double wall shipping boxes are the more sensible step up.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose a cube rather than a rectangular box?

With equal sides you need no preferred orientation and the contents fit in any position. A cube is also efficient on the pallet, because no narrow strips of space are left over.

Is 4 mm single wall strong enough at this size?

For contents that are mainly bulky, yes. With a large footprint the base is the point to watch. Spread the load across the whole surface and tape the underside in an H pattern.

Is the board fully recyclable?

It is. This is plain brown corrugated board with no coating and no print, so it goes straight into the waste paper stream. Folded flat it takes up very little room at the collection point.
