This format, with an internal size of 300 x 250 x 200 mm, offers fifteen litres of internal volume and ranks among the roomier single wall models. At this volume the 4 mm C flute is not a luxury but a condition. A large panel bows sooner than a small one, and the taller flute layer keeps the sides straight as long as the box is filled properly.

A roomy model depends on an even fill. Pack the base across its full area and close the last cavities, so the sides stay vertical and the load rests on the four corners.

Spread the load over the whole base and keep the middle carrying the most. Heavy contents in one corner pull the box out of shape and put needless strain on a single wall.

Does this format sit neatly on a euro pallet?

Yes, the footprint lies on a euro pallet without overhang. That keeps the stretch film tight and stops corners from sticking out past the edge and getting damaged in transit.

When should I move up to double wall board?

As soon as the contents get considerably heavier or the box sits at the bottom of a full pallet. The double wall shipping boxes are then the safer choice.
