At 200 x 200 x 110 mm you get a box that holds a set of parts or a pile of four to five flat items without carrying unnecessary air in the height. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall folding cartons, and this low square runs all year round. It is made in 4 mm single wall board with a C-flute, so it is thicker and springier than the common 3 mm quality. One strip of tape over the centre seam closes it.

Why 4 mm rather than 3 mm

The C-flute is taller than the B-flute used in the thinner board. That extra flute height absorbs knocks better and gives the wall more spring, which shows with tins, ceramics and metal goods. Do allow for a little more protective and filling materials: the inside stays the same, but the wall gives way further when it is pressed in.

• Fragile crockery and glass - the C-flute cushions noticeably more than thin board.
• Square contents - cartons, pots and tins line up with the base area.

Frequently asked questions

Are the stated measurements internal dimensions?

Yes, 200 x 200 x 110 mm is the inside measurement. Because of the wall thickness the outside runs slightly larger per side, which matters if the box has to fit a crate or a shelf opening.

Which tape holds on brown corrugated board?

Both acrylic packing tape and the quieter hotmelt version grip well on uncoated board. Run the strip along the seam and let it continue a little way over the side edges.

Is this box recyclable?

It is. The board is brown, unprinted and uncoated, so after unpacking it simply goes in with the waste paper. Your customer disposes of it without separating anything.
