Single wall box 200x150x90 mm

Single wall box 200 x 150 x 90 mm - parcel format in 4 mm

A 200 x 150 mm footprint with a height of 90 mm is a classic parcel format: enough room for a filled inner box or a handful of components, and comfortably within the size limits of the carriers. The internal size is 200 x 150 x 90 mm, made in 4 mm single wall board with a C-flute. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall shipping cartons, and customers who order postal boxes from us will find this format precisely in the thicker quality.

The C-flute is taller than the B-flute used for 3 mm. That gives a stiffer wall and more spring, which you notice with contents that are heavy for their size or have hard edges. The box keeps standing straight even when filled to the brim, and the flaps close flat. That makes sealing easier, because the flaps rest on each other without tension.

Frequently asked questions

Why is this format made in 4 mm?

Because it is often used for contents that are relatively heavy. A thicker single wall then gives exactly the rigidity required, without the weight of double wall shipping boxes. The difference shows most on consignments handled repeatedly.

How often can I reuse a box like this?

Usually a few times, as long as the corners and the flaps stay intact. A crushed corner immediately costs part of the stacking strength.

Which tape works best on 4 mm board?

A standard packaging tape of 48 or 50 mm will do. With heavier contents, seal the underside in an H pattern as well. Our range of tape has suitable rolls for this.
