How many litres does this box hold?

The internal size works out at about 67 litres. That covers a sizeable batch of light articles, though you should allow for the filling material you need around them.

Is 3 mm board strong enough at this size?

For light to moderately light contents it is more than adequate. The limit is not puncture resistance but stacking pressure: a large single wall box at the foot of a tall stack will bulge sooner.

Is it worth taking several packs at once?

Yes. Quantity pricing applies to this format, so the price per box drops as the order grows, and because the boxes arrive flat a buffer stock costs almost no shelf space.
