Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall shipping boxes, and this elongated model needs its own approach. With an internal size of 594 x 194 x 150 mm you pack items that would mostly ship air in a square box: aluminium profiles, cable trunking, guide rails, extraction ducting, long tool parts or a rolled-up mat.

Length is the point to watch

On a narrow box of almost sixty centimetres, strength is rarely the issue - length is. Most parcel carriers only add a long-goods surcharge from around a metre, so this size stays within the ordinary parcel band. Do make sure the contents are supported along the full length, because a box that sags in the middle picks up a kink on the way.

Profiles and tubing: one or several pieces side by side with the ends packed out.
Rolls and webs: rolled material that must not be creased.
Sets with an odd length: assembly parts plus small items in one shipment.

Frequently asked questions

Will this box stay straight over its full length?

With light, evenly spread contents it will. Pack heavy material and a 4 mm C-flute version or a double wall shipping box is the better answer, because it gives way far less over that span.

How do I tape a long box properly?

Run a strip of tape along the whole top seam, then secure both end panels. With heavier contents, tape the base in an H pattern so the flaps cannot spring open.

How many packs fit on a pallet?

A pallet holds 36 packs of 25 boxes. Because the boxes lie flat, a full pallet takes up very little floor space, and ordering several packs at once brings quantity pricing into play.
