Single wall box 450 x 320 x 300 mm - plenty of volume on light board

At 450 x 320 x 300 mm this box holds a good 43 litres, and the packaging itself stays surprisingly light. That ratio is what makes the A3 format interesting for goods that mainly take up room: whatever board you do not send along shows up in the volumetric weight the carriers charge on. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall cardboard boxes and we keep this size in continuous stock within our range of cardboard boxes.

The quality is a 3 mm single wall board in a B-flute. For light goods that is ample. You only notice the difference with a double wall box once the content turns heavy or once you stack the boxes high. If you expect the latter, double wall shipping boxes in the same format are the sounder choice.

Common questions

How full may I pack this box?

Go by the content rather than by the volume. With a light load spread evenly you can use the full size without worry. Once the walls start to bulge or lifting becomes awkward you have reached the limit, and a thicker quality makes sense.

Why would you not choose double wall here?

Because double wall board is heavier and dearer. With a light load you would be paying for strength you never use. The choice therefore follows the weight of the content, not the size of the box.

Do these boxes fit stacked on a euro pallet?

Yes. The 450 x 320 mm footprint sits on a euro pallet without overhang, and that is also how the goods arrive at your door.
