In a warehouse a box is not only a way of shipping goods but also a container for keeping them. The format 450 x 300 x 300 mm covers both jobs: the 450 by 300 mm base matches the A3 footprint and fits many shelf compartments, while the 300 mm height stacks neatly in layers. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall boxes, and this is one of the sizes customers buy on an annual contract. You will find it among our folding boxes.

The quality is a 3 mm single wall board with a B-flute, the standard for light to medium content. It brings enough stiffness to hold the box in shape without sending unnecessary board along. For racked storage, where the boxes support one another, that is exactly the right specification. Once a full pallet load goes on top, double wall shipping boxes are the better answer.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put these boxes on the rack with the top open?

You can, as long as you fold the top flaps inward or cut them off. An open box loses part of its stacking strength, so do not rest a full box loose on top of it.

How long does corrugated board keep in storage?

Kept dry and indoors it stays usable for years. Moisture is the real enemy, because board absorbs it and loses stiffness. Keep the boxes away from the outside wall and off the floor.

How does this box differ from the 4 mm version?

The 3 mm B-flute is thinner and flatter, while the 4 mm C-flute springs back more. For indoor storage 3 mm is plenty, and for fragile goods on the road you would rather choose 4 mm.
