Sending two small parcels nearly always costs more than sending one slightly larger one. A base of 430 x 400 x 200 mm lets you put a complete picked order into a single box: four to six items side by side, with room for a divider layer on top. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall shipping cartons, and within our range of folding boxes this is the size customers reach for when they want to cut down the number of consignments.

The board is a single wall grade of 3 mm in a B-flute. On a wide base, spreading the load matters more than wall thickness. Lay the goods out evenly and the bottom carries them without complaint. Let the weight gather in one corner and even a thicker board will eventually sag.

How do I keep several items in place inside a wide box?

Work with compartments. A few strips of board across the width turn the base into separate sections, so the goods cannot all slide into one corner in transit. Suitable loose fill sits in our protective and filling materials.

Does this box stay manageable once it is full?

At 200 mm the volume stays limited, and so does the weight you have to lift. With a wide model that is exactly the point: wide and flat beats wide and tall.

What if the contents turn out heavy?

Spread the load across the whole bottom and tape it in an H pattern. If the load stays heavy, the grades in 4 mm are the better answer.
