Why does this box come out so light?

The base area is large, yet the wall is only one flute thick. With carriers that charge by weight, that tells in your favour against a double wall version of the same size.

Does the box keep its shape with a full load?

With light contents it does. Bulky goods that fill the box completely keep the walls under tension themselves. If it stays half empty, fill the rest so the sides do not sink inwards.

Can I combine this size with larger packaging?
