At 430 x 300 x 220 mm the boxes stand in regular layers on the pallet, with no overhang and no wasted space between the columns. Where the stacking strength sits

The stacking strength of corrugated board sits in the vertical corners, not in the panels. Place the boxes exactly on top of one another with the corners in line and a single wall of 3 mm carries more than you would expect at first glance. If you go four or five layers high with heavy contents, lay a divider sheet between the layers or move up to double wall board.

Frequently asked questions

How many layers can I stack safely?

That depends on the load of the contents, not on the box alone. With light contents this format holds a full pallet build. With heavier contents you are better off stacking fewer layers or working with a divider sheet.

What is the difference with the 4 mm version of this size?

The 4 mm version has a taller flute and therefore more resilience. This 3 mm version is lighter and more economical and is intended for light to medium-weight consignments.

Which tape closes this box best?

A roll of 48 or 50 mm wide will do. Tape the underside of full boxes in an H pattern so the base stays closed under stacking pressure. Our tape range has the matching rolls.
