Basic sizes like this one are what we ship in the largest volumes. The internal size is 400 x 300 x 150 mm, and that wide, low footprint suits consignments that spread out sideways without building upwards. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall shipping boxes, and here we mostly see clothing and textiles, files and documentation, plastic components or a set of spare parts that fits side by side in one layer.

The board is single wall, 3 mm thick, in B-flute: one flute layer between two flat liners. That is the usual quality for light to medium-weight consignments. You get a box with a low weight of its own, and that shows in the shipping rate. If the contents get heavier, the 4 mm version or a double wall box is the better choice.

Is this box recyclable?

Yes, unprinted brown corrugated board belongs with the waste paper and is reused as a raw material. Because the box has no coating, the recipient has nothing to separate before disposal.

Is 150 mm of height enough for two layers of articles?

That depends on the article height. Up to around 70 mm per layer works well, including a thin layer of padding. If you need more height on the same footprint, there are taller variants of this size.

How are the boxes delivered and stored?

They arrive laid flat in packs of 30, so a buffer stock costs very few shelf metres. Larger orders also bring the price per box down through the quantity scale.
