An internal size of 400 x 250 x 250 mm is the kind of box in which a complete set sits side by side: six jars, four tins, a row of bottles or a collection of smaller cartons. The board is 3 mm single wall in B quality. That works well as long as you lay the contents side by side rather than stacking them high, because the load then rests evenly on the base. If you place heavy articles in two or three layers, the 4 mm C-flute or a double wall version is the safer choice.

How do I divide the box into compartments?

Strips of corrugated board let you build a cross divider in seconds. Jars or bottles then cannot touch each other and you need less loose filling. The divider can also be added later if the order changes.

Is this format suitable for liquids in glass?

It is, with an insert per bottle. Make sure no glass touches the wall and fill the space above the neck, so that stacking pressure never rests on the closure.

How many packs go on a pallet?

A pallet holds 24 packs of 25 boxes. Anyone using this format daily tends to buy by the pallet and save on handling. The quantity pricing makes the larger order more attractive still.
