Not every consignment is heavy. Textiles, foam, insulation, empty bottles or inflatable articles mainly need room, and nobody should pay for thick board to provide it. 394 x 294 x 294 mm gives you almost 34 litres of capacity in a box made of 3 mm single wall. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall shipping cartons, and this format is the classic answer for bulky, lightweight goods.
The nearly square footprint works in your favour. The contents sit in the middle with the same clearance on every side, so a thin layer of padding is enough. If the load becomes considerably heavier, reach for double wall shipping boxes instead, because at this height the stacking pressure on a single wall is the limiting factor. On larger quantities we work with volume pricing, so the price per box goes down as the order grows.
Textiles and clothing: a complete order of workwear or bed linen in one run.
Padding stock: bubble film, foam sheets and other protective and filling materials sent to a branch.
Consolidated shipments: several small orders bundled for the same address.
Storage: seasonal stock or display items that need to sit dry and dust free between two outings.

With most carriers it does, but you are close to the point where volumetric weight starts to count. Ask your carrier for the conversion factor, because with light contents the charge is often based on volume rather than on mass.
Fill the box right up to the top edge. A half filled tall box collapses inwards when stacked. A few sheets of paper or an air cushion on top will block the contents reliably.
Yes. Score the four side walls at the height you want with a knife, fold the surplus inwards and tape the lid flaps over it. That way unnecessary air space simply disappears.
