In webshop warehouses this size is a fixture on the shelf. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for folding boxes in single wall board, and this one is among the sizes that come back on repeat orders most often. At 350 x 250 x 250 mm you get around 21 litres of usable space in a parcel that most carriers still handle as an ordinary shipment. That lets you send multi-item orders in one box instead of moving up to a more expensive shipping class.

The boxes arrive flat in packs of 30, the largest pack in this range of sizes and therefore handy if the format crosses your packing bench dozens of times a day. One pack is closed with a few rolls of tape, and because the price runs in quantity tiers, the cost per box drops as you order more.

Does this size still fall into a low cost parcel band?

With the common parcel carriers it usually does, although the limits differ by carrier and by contract. Check the sum of length, width and height against your own rate table before you make this size your standard.

How many packs go on a pallet?

Twenty packs, which comes to 600 boxes. Buying by the pallet saves handling, and the tiered pricing brings the cost per box down as well.

Is 3 mm enough for a fully loaded box this size?

For light and bulky contents it is ample. Once the contents get heavy, or the boxes have to be stacked several layers high, a double wall version is the safer choice.
