Tall shipping box 304 x 215 x 273 mm - single wall 3 mm in B-flute

This box shares its footprint with the lower version of the same format, but at 304 x 215 x 273 mm it leaves room for contents that are packed in layers one above the other. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for shipping boxes in single wall board, and the taller sizes among our folding boxes are often where the saving sits: fewer boxes per order, less tape and less material between the layers.

The material is single wall of 3 mm in the B-flute grade. In a tall box the filling matters more than the wall thickness. A full box carries its own stacking load, while a half filled one collapses downwards. Top up the upper layer with protective and filling materials to just below the flaps, so the lid closes flat.

Frequently asked questions

What should I do if the box is only half full?

Either fill the remaining space or drop down to a lower model. A tall box with air inside loses stacking strength and can collapse under the boxes above it.

Can I ship this box lying on its side?

You can, but assume that carriers will handle the box in every possible position. Pack the contents so that orientation does not matter, or mark the top side clearly.

Are there larger formats for very bulky loads?

For those, moving boxes are the better choice. They are built for large volumes and have hand holes, which makes lifting a full box a good deal easier.
