The 304 x 215 mm footprint matches an A4 sheet almost exactly, with a few millimetres of clearance all round. The grade is single wall of 3 mm with a B-flute. This is the everyday quality for light to medium weight consignments: thin enough to lose little volume to the packaging, strong enough for the trip through a sorting centre. Paper builds up quickly, so do not load the box to the very last centimetre and move to a thicker grade when the contents are dense.

Will A4 ring binders and folders stand upright in here?

A4 paper lies flat on the base and a slim ring binder stands upright within the 218 mm height. The stated size is the internal dimension, so you keep a few millimetres of clearance across the width.

How does this box differ from the 273 mm tall version?

Only in height. The footprint, the board and the grade are identical, so you can run both sizes through the same packing bench and the same pallet pattern.

What is the quickest way to close this box?

Use a dispenser and one strip of tape of 48 or 50 mm across the centre seam. With heavy printed matter, tape the short edges on the underside as well.
