Are the dimensions internal or external?

The 230 x 190 x 120 mm quoted are internal dimensions. With a wall thickness of 3 mm, the external size is a few millimetres larger per side.

Can I reuse these boxes for returns?

That often works a few times, as long as the flaps and corners stay intact. Once a corner is crushed, the box loses part of its strength. If you run a steady returns flow, set a clear limit: a box with a split seam goes to the waste paper.

What is the best way to store them?

Flat and on a level surface, away from damp. Corrugated board that takes up moisture measurably loses stiffness.
