Single wall box 200 x 150 x 50 mm - flat model for flat consignments

With an internal size of 200 x 150 x 50 mm, and therefore only five centimetres of height, this is the flattest model in the series. Flat contents belong in a flat box: put a book, a tablet, a textile item or a set of documents in a box that is too tall and it slides around while you use far more void fill than necessary. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for single wall boxes, and our range of cardboard boxes deliberately covers the low models too.

A low model brings a second advantage: the volumetric weight stays small, and with many carriers a flat consignment therefore lands in a more favourable rate band. The board is single wall at 3 mm, which keeps the base rigid enough for contents spread across the whole surface. Packing one layer per box makes the best use of that surface and spares you filling up the height.

Frequently asked questions

May this box be sent as letterbox post?

No. The common limit for letterbox post sits at around three centimetres of thickness, and five centimetres goes beyond it. So it remains a parcel, though one with a very low volume. For the letterbox you need an even flatter model or a mailing envelope.

Will a flat box not sag?

With this footprint 3 mm single wall holds up well, as long as the contents lie spread out. Do not place heavy, concentrated contents on one point in the middle of the base.

Can I combine this size with taller boxes on a pallet?

Yes. The 200 x 150 mm footprint comes in several heights, so you can keep the same pallet pattern. For padded layers in between you will find suitable protective and filling materials.
