Frequently asked questions

Will this box fit through a letterbox?

No. At a height of 90 mm it sits above the maximum thickness allowed for letterbox post. You send it as a parcel, where the small format does fall into the lowest rate band.

Is 3 mm single wall board strong enough at this size?

For light contents it is. The small base area makes the box rigid in itself. For heavy or sharp-edged parts a double wall version is the safer option. Always fill any voids, so the pressure spreads across the whole wall instead of one corner.

Are the dimensions internal or external?

The stated 140 x 100 x 90 mm is the internal size. Because of the 3 mm wall thickness the external size comes out a few millimetres larger. Keep that in mind if the box has to fit into a crate or on a shelf.
