Longbox single wall - 1005 x 105 x 105mm

This longbox, also known as a long postal carton, made of single-wall corrugated cardboard has an internal size of 1005 x 105 x 105 mm and is supplied in bundles of 10. Ideal for narrow and long products such as profiles, tubes, bars or posters. Its rectangular shape means lower shipping costs with many carriers than a round tube.

Longbox A0 (1005 mm): sturdy and cost-effective shipping

The longbox is delivered flat (plano) and closes quickly and securely thanks to the self-adhesive strip. The opening is on the short side, which makes packing long items easier. Thanks to its flat sides the box stays stable on the sorting belt, whereas a round tube can roll away; many carriers charge extra handling costs for that rolling. So the longbox not only stacks better but is often cheaper to ship too.

Frequently asked questions

Why do carriers sometimes charge more for round tubes?

A round tube can roll off the sorting belt and cause extra handling, for which carriers frequently charge a surcharge. The rectangular longbox stays in place, making it generally cheaper to ship and easier to stack.

How do I close the longbox?

The longbox has a self-adhesive strip. Fill the box from the short side, peel off the strip and press the flap down for a secure seal.

Is the longbox delivered assembled?

No, the longbox is delivered flat (plano). That saves storage space and it is set up in no time.
