How do I stop the contents sliding lengthways?

Secure the contents at both ends with crumpled paper or a foam block. In a long box, all movement ends up at the ends.

Can I bundle several profiles in one box?

Yes, as long as you tape them together into a single bundle. Loose bars slide against one another and can push through the end of the box from the inside.
