Cardboard boxes 800 x 600 x 800 mm – the same base, 200 mm more height

This box shares its 800 x 600 mm base with the lower model but, at 800 mm high, offers considerably more room: over 0.38 m³ per parcel. You notice the difference as soon as the contents are packed in layers and the last layer would otherwise just not fit. Since 2007, we have been the go-to specialist wholesaler for double wall shipping boxes, and we keep these larger sizes in stock as well.

Height is the most demanding direction for corrugated board. The taller the wall, the sooner it buckles under stacking pressure. The 7 mm double wall BC construction gives the side walls the rigidity they need, so you can stack these boxes two high on a pallet without the bottom layer collapsing.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference from the 600 mm high version?

Only the height. The base, the board quality and the way you erect the box are the same, so you can combine both sizes in the same pallet pattern and use the same tape.

Do I need to fill the box if it is not full?

Yes. At this height, empty space is the biggest risk: the contents settle during transport and the top flaps cave in. Fill up to just below the rim, or add a divider.

Can I move this box with a sack truck?

Yes, when full – provided you tilt the box over its long side rather than over a corner. For repeated internal transport, a dolly is kinder to the bottom edge of the board.
