Some shipments are both long and bulky. This double wall box combines an internal length of 800 mm with a 500 x 500 mm cross-section, giving a total of 200 litres. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for cardboard packaging, and we supply this size in packs of 15 – enough for several shipments or a complete storage job.

Typical applications

Furniture parts and flat-pack kits: panels, legs and fittings of 75 cm and more can be packed together in one box.
Sports and leisure items: think tent parts, fitness equipment or garden accessories that need plenty of length.
Storage and moving: for the loft, basement or a storage unit; handy together with moving accessories such as a tape dispenser.

Compared with the 700 x 500 x 500 mm box, this version gives you an extra 10 cm of length with the same cross-section. That small difference often decides whether a long product lies flat or has to go in at an angle.

What are the external dimensions?

The external size is about 814 x 514 x 514 mm, as the double wall sides are roughly 7 mm thick. Always check your parcel carrier’s maximum dimensions and volumetric weight for this size.

How much weight can I ship in it?

There is no fixed maximum, as it depends on how the contents are distributed and how the box is sealed. Fill the box as completely as possible, put heavy parts at the bottom and have two people lift a full, heavy box.

Can I use the box upright?

Yes. Thanks to its square 500 x 500 mm cross-section, the box is also stable standing on end, for example for long items you want to store vertically.
