Not every large product is also tall. Flat-pack furniture parts, light fittings and folded textiles mainly need length and width, while a tall box only carries air that you then have to fill. With internal dimensions of 800 x 500 x 300 mm, this box offers a generous base with a restrained height. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for double wall boxes, supplying this size to webshops, wholesalers and manufacturers.

If you need more height, 800 x 500 x 500 mm has the same base. If your product is more compact, a smaller folding box will be cheaper to ship. This version sits in between: long enough for bulky parts, low enough to keep void fill to a minimum.

Frequently asked questions

What are the external dimensions of this box?

Because of the wall thickness of the double wall board, the box is about 14 mm larger in each direction on the outside, so roughly 814 x 514 x 314 mm. Bear this in mind when checking your carrier's maximum parcel size.

How do I seal a box of this length properly?

Tape the centre seam on the top and bottom along its full length and also tape across both short seams (H-seal). A strong packaging tape of at least 50 mm wide gives the best hold over 800 mm.

Can I ship this box standing on end?

You can, but the 800 x 500 mm base is designed for transport lying flat. Standing on end, the weight rests on a smaller area and the box is less stable on a pallet or in a van.
