An unusual size for a good reason: double wall box 788 x 488 x 376 mm

Not every product fits neatly into round numbers. This box has internal dimensions of 788 x 488 x 376 mm, so it takes items that are just too long for a 700 mm box, with a capacity of around 145 litres. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for double wall folding boxes, and we supply this size in packs of 10, flat and quick to assemble.

What this size is designed for

Long items: lighting, tools, flat-pack parts or framed pieces up to around 75 cm long, with room for cushioning at the short ends.

Returns and export: the 7 mm double wall board copes well with repeated handling.

With external dimensions of approximately 802 x 502 x 390 mm, the length is almost equal to the width of a Euro pallet (800 mm) – allow for a few millimetres of overhang. For genuinely heavy contents, consider triple wall shipping boxes.

Unusual sizes usually come from practice: they match a specific product or an existing packing and stacking pattern. If you ship products of around 75 cm, this size saves you from switching to a much larger box.

Does this box fit on a Euro pallet?

The external size is approximately 802 x 502 x 390 mm. Placing the length along the 800 mm side of a 1200 x 800 mm Euro pallet, two boxes side by side take up about 1004 mm of the 1200 mm. Allow for a few millimetres of overhang along the long sides of the pallet.

Can I ship a product that is exactly 788 mm long?

It will fit, but only just, with no room for protection. For proper cushioning, we recommend that your product is a few centimetres shorter, so you can add padding at both ends.
