With an internal height of 500 mm, this double wall box offers just over 175 litres on a 700 x 500 mm base. That makes it a good fit for light but bulky goods you would rather send in one box than split across two. Applications for a tall, roomy box

Bedding and textiles: duvets, pillows and seasonal clothing fit without being squashed.

A practical tip: precisely because this box is so roomy, it is tempting to overload it. Spread heavy items across several boxes so that one person can still lift a full box safely. If you need less height, 700 x 500 x 300 mm offers the same footprint in a lower version.

Is this box suitable for heavy products?

Double wall board can take more than single wall, but at over 175 litres a full box with heavy contents quickly becomes too heavy to lift safely. It is best used for bulky, relatively light goods.

What are the external dimensions?

With 7 mm walls, the external size is approximately 714 x 514 x 514 mm. Bear this in mind if the box needs to fit in a cupboard, racking or a van.

What is the best way to seal this box?

Tape the base using the H method: one strip along the centre seam and one along each side edge. Use strong packaging tape and repeat on the top.
