Cardboard boxes 600 x 600 x 300 mm – square and spacious

Not every product is long and narrow. Round, square or irregularly shaped items sit awkwardly in a rectangular box: there is space left over on one side while it is a tight squeeze on the other. A 600 x 600 mm base with a height of 300 mm solves that – 108 litres, with equal clearance on both sides. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for shipping boxes, and we also supply these less common square sizes from stock.

What this size is used for

Wide, flat items: table tops, lids, sheet material and displays.
Round shapes: reels, drums, rings and coiled material.
Sets in a single layer: several items side by side, with no need to stack them.

A large base calls for double wall

A base of 0.36 square metres is a sizeable panel. In single wall board, a panel like that sags as soon as weight is applied, with all the consequences for the contents. The 7 mm double wall keeps the base rigid across its full width and gives the corners the load-bearing strength you need when stacking. If you want to build even larger units on a pallet, our pallet boxes are the logical next step.

Frequently asked questions

Does this size fit on a Euro pallet?

Two boxes per layer fit within the 1200 mm length. Across the width of an 800 mm pallet about 20 centimetres remain unused; on a 1200 x 1000 mm pallet the footprint lines up more efficiently.

Why choose a square box?

Because you can place the contents from any direction and keep the same clearance on every side. That saves time when packing and gives an even layer of protection all round.

Can I pack the contents in two layers?

At 300 mm high that works well for flat items. Place a flat cardboard layer pad between the layers so the bottom layer does not carry the full weight of the top one.
