Double wall cardboard boxes - 600 x 400 x 350mm

Cardboard boxes 600 x 400 x 350 mm – for moving and storage

For moving and long-term storage, different things count than for shipping: the box has to hold its shape for months, stay straight when stacked and be easy to carry with two hands. At 600 x 400 x 350 mm, this size holds 84 litres – plenty to empty a cupboard, yet not so big that a full box becomes unmanageable. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler supplying double wall shipping boxes to businesses that look beyond a single journey.

Applications in moving and storage

Office moves: lever arch files, records, desk contents and loose equipment.
Household goods: crockery with padding, kitchen items, books in limited quantities.
Archive and seasonal storage: sealed boxes that stay on racking or a pallet.

Why double wall for storage

Board under prolonged load creeps: a single wall box that stands under weight for months slowly sinks. The 7 mm BC flute has a much larger reserve, so the stack is still standing straight after six months. Do keep the boxes dry, though; moisture is the greatest enemy of stacking strength for any type of board.

Frequently asked questions

How heavy can I fill a box like this?

The limiting factor here is not the box but the person carrying it. For manual lifting, keep to around 20 to 23 kilos. With books, the box is full enough well before that limit – top it up with lighter items.

Does this box have handles?

No, it is an unprinted regular slotted container (RSC, FEFCO 0201) without die-cut hand holes. That keeps the wall closed and therefore stronger, which matters most when stacking in storage.

Can I reuse the boxes after the move?

Usually, yes, as long as the corners and flaps are undamaged. Cut the tape rather than pulling it off; that keeps the outer liner intact and the box retains its strength.
