Long 600 x 300 x 300 mm double wall box

Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for shipping boxes and packaging materials, and we know that not every product fits neatly into a cube-shaped box. This box with internal dimensions of 600 x 300 x 300 mm is exactly twice as long as it is wide and high. That makes it a natural fit for items that extend lengthwise, without leaving lots of empty space to fill. The capacity is 54 litres, and the double wall board (BC flute, 7 mm) keeps the long sides from bending.

Suitable for long products

Lighting and décor: lamp bases, tall vases and artificial plants.
Sport and leisure: tripods, fishing rod sections and sports equipment up to almost 60 cm.
Rolls and tubes: rolled posters and drawings up to A2, fabric rolls or rolls of film.
Tools and parts: spirit levels, profiles and hoses packed lengthwise.

How long can a product be for this box?

Inside you have 600 mm of length and a 300 x 300 mm cross-section. For fragile items, leave a few centimetres for padding; for a well-protected product, allow around 55 to 56 cm in length.

How do I seal a long box properly?

Tape the centre seam along its full length with packaging tape and let the tape run a little way over the end panels at both ends. For heavier contents, an extra strip at right angles to the seam adds grip.

Wouldn't a single wall box be enough?

For light items, a single wall box may be sufficient. Over a length of 60 cm, however, single wall board bends more readily; double wall gives noticeably more stiffness here.
