With a height of 380 mm, this version offers just over 85 litres, while the base stays the same as the lower sizes in the same range. That means you can pack items upright rather than lying down: lever arch files, bottles in a divider, small appliances or rolled materials. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for double wall shipping boxes – and at this height, the board really starts to count.

A tall box stands or falls by its side walls. In single wall board, a wall of almost 40 cm will bulge as soon as something is placed on the box; the 7 mm double wall keeps it straight and transfers the stacking load neatly to the corners. If you stack these boxes on pallets, you will notice the difference in the bottom layer.

✔ Limit the weight – the volume invites overloading; keep the box liftable.
✔ Tape the base in an H pattern – with packing tape, the bottom flaps carry the full contents.
✔ Stack squarely – corner on corner, otherwise you lose load-bearing strength.

How heavy can a filled box of this size be?

The board can handle more than one person can lift. Keep to around 20 kg as a workable upper limit and spread heavier shipments over several boxes.

Do I need a divider at this height?

For upright items, yes. A cardboard divider or a set of layer pads keeps the contents in compartments, so nothing can tip over in transit. For a single solid product, filling the sides is sufficient.

What is the difference from the 585 x 385 x 385 mm?

Five millimetres in height and a slightly heavier construction. This 380 mm version ships at 10 packs per pallet, the 385 mm at 9. Functionally they are interchangeable; choose based on availability and delivery time.
