If you work with a fixed pallet build, you want to keep the base the same and let only the height vary with the order. This box is the mid-height option: 270 mm tall, good for around 61 litres. Tall enough for contents packed in two layers, low enough to lift a full box comfortably. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for double wall shipping boxes, and within this range this is the most frequently ordered height.

Can I combine this height with other sizes in the same stack?

Yes – that is exactly the strength of a fixed footprint. Keep to one height per layer, so the top surface stays level and the next layer sits on it without any play.

How do I stop a half-filled box from caving in?

Fill the last few centimetres beneath the flaps with void fill or a cardboard divider. The strength of corrugated board lies in the walls, but only as long as the lid is supported.

Why do customers choose this size over the 285 mm version?

At 270 mm, more packs fit on a pallet and the box is slightly lighter. If you really need that extra centimetre and a half of height, the 285 mm version is the better choice.
