Tall 500 x 400 x 400 mm box for bulky contents

Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for cardboard boxes, and with bulky products we find that height is usually the deciding factor. This box has internal dimensions of 500 x 400 x 400 mm, giving 80 litres of capacity. The footprint matches the 500 x 400 x 300 mm version, but the extra 10 cm of height makes room for products that need to stand upright or simply take up a lot of space. The double wall sides (7 mm) keep that height stable.

Applications in practice

Bottles and jars upright: with 400 mm of internal height, there is space above standard bottles for dividers or padding.
Textiles and home accessories: cushions, throws, lampshades and other light but bulky items.
Moving and storage: for kitchenware or toys, with our moving accessories to help. Heavy items such as books are better spread over smaller boxes.
Consolidating: ship several product packs together as a single consignment.

Will wine bottles fit upright in this box?

A standard wine bottle is around 30 to 33 cm tall and fits comfortably upright with 400 mm of internal height. With glass, do use dividers or void fill so the bottles do not touch.

How does it differ from the 500 x 400 x 300 mm box?

The footprint is identical; this version is 100 mm taller and therefore offers 80 instead of 60 litres. Choose the taller box if your product needs to stand upright or is bulky but light.

How many boxes are on a pallet?

A pallet holds 15 packs of 15 boxes each, 225 boxes in total.
