Cardboard boxes 500 x 300 x 200 mm – slim model for elongated items

Not every product is compact. A profile, a rail, a lamp or a tool case is mainly long, and then a square box works against you: there is space left over that you have to fill. This version, 500 mm long, 300 mm wide and 200 mm high, fits much more closely. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for double wall shipping boxes, and we keep these less common proportions in stock too.

With a long model, you notice most clearly that the box is double wall. Half a metre of single wall side panel gives as soon as you lift the box in the middle; with 7 mm BC flute, the box stays straight along its entire length. Seal it with a strip of packing tape along the length seam.

Suitable for

Elongated parts: profiles, tubes, guides and rails up to around 49 cm.
Lighting and electrical: fittings and cable reels that must not shift.
Tools in a case: the low profile keeps the case lying flat in place.

Frequently asked questions

Why are there 10 boxes in a pack and not 15?

The pack size follows from the dimensions and the board construction. For this model it comes to 10 per pack; if you order more packs, the price per box goes down.

Can the contents be longer than 500 mm?

No. An item that pushes against the flaps forces the box open and loses its protection. Allow at least one centimetre of clearance on each side.

Is this size suitable for heavy contents?

Yes. Double wall board pays off especially in a long box, because the weight is spread over a larger base. Place the heaviest items at the bottom and against the long sides.
