The cross-section of this box is square: 300 by 300 mm, over a length of 430 mm. That makes it suitable for products that are packed upright or on their side and need the same amount of space on two sides. Since 2007, Kortpack has been the go-to wholesaler for shipping boxes in double wall board, and this size is chosen mainly where a fixed packing routine applies.

Because two of the three dimensions are equal, the box can be placed on the packing line in two ways without changing how it is packed. Meanwhile, the 7 mm double wall board ensures that the long side does not sag when the filled box is lifted.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use this box both lying down and standing up?

Yes. Thanks to the square cross-section, it makes little difference to the contents which of the two 300 mm sides is at the bottom. Choose the orientation in which the heaviest part rests on the base.

What is the difference from the 400 x 300 x 300 mm size?

Only the length: 430 instead of 400 mm. Those three centimetres are there for products that end up wedged in the shorter model and can no longer be wrapped.

How do I stop the contents from tipping over?

Place upright products against each other rather than loose in the middle, and fill the remaining space up to the flaps. A filled box leaves nothing room to tip over inside.
