Square, low double wall box of 400 x 400 x 200 mm

A square 400 x 400 mm base and a height of 200 mm: this box is made for products that are wide but not tall. Think of crockery, vinyl records, board games or neatly folded textiles. Because the box is low, the centre of gravity sits close to the base, so it stands firmly on the pallet and in the roll cage. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for folding boxes, and we supply this model in sturdy corrugated board with a 7 mm double wall (BC flute).

Ideal for wide, flat products

Crockery and ceramics: plates and bowls lie flat with padding in between; a 'fragile' warning label alerts the carrier.
Vinyl and media: LP sleeves of about 31.5 x 31.5 cm fit with room all around for protection.
Games, puzzles and photo books: wide boxes and books will not slide around with suitable void fill.
Textiles and home accessories: throws, cushion covers and tablecloths go in folded and flat.

Do LP records fit in this box?

Yes. An LP sleeve measures about 31.5 x 31.5 cm. With internal dimensions of 400 x 400 mm, you have just over 40 mm on every side for void fill, so the corners of the records stay protected.

What is the best way to seal this box?

Use the H-taping method: tape the centre seam of the flaps first, then both short edges. With a good packaging tape, the base and lid stay closed even when the box is full.

How many boxes fit on a pallet?

One pallet holds 10 packs of 20 boxes, 200 boxes in total. That way you order a supply that lasts for a longer period in one go.
