The same footprint as the lower 400 x 300 model, but with a height of 300 mm. That extra height is exactly what you need when a product has to go into the box upright: a kitchen appliance, a pump, a small motor or a housing with connections on top. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for shipping boxes, supplying machine-size boxes like this one from stock.

Equipment is rarely light and often protrudes at a single point. That is where 7 mm double wall board proves its worth: the BC flute absorbs an impact before it reaches the contents, and the wall keeps the box in shape when the centre of gravity is high. Stand the product on a layer of void fill and leave a few centimetres clear all around.

What is the best way to pack an appliance in this box?

Work from the bottom up: first a layer of void fill on the base, then the appliance in the centre, then fill the sides. Finish with a layer on top so that the top flaps do not rest on the product.

Does the box stay stable when the contents are heavy?

Yes, provided the weight rests on the base and is not concentrated on one side. For heavy contents, also seal the bottom in an H pattern with strong packing tape.

What is the difference from the 400 x 300 x 180 mm box?

Only the height. Footprint, board and construction are the same, so you can load both sizes in the same pallet column and seal them with the same tape width.
