Cardboard boxes 384 x 234 x 168 mm – long and narrow, with little volume

Shipping costs are hardly ever determined by weight alone. As soon as a box is larger than necessary, you are paying for air. This size goes the other way: a length of 384 mm gives room to line items up one behind the other, while a width of 234 mm and height of 168 mm keep the volume low. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for shipping boxes, and this is a size for anyone keeping a close eye on shipping volume.

Narrow doesn't mean flimsy here. The board is 7 mm BC flute double wall, so the long side walls don't buckle inwards when the box ends up on its side in a roll cage – precisely the surface that gives way first on elongated single wall shipping boxes.

These dimensions result from an efficient layout of the corrugated sheet. By not rounding up, there is less cutting waste in production, which benefits the price per box.

Can I stand books upright in it?
