At 370 x 350 x 250 mm, this model has room for the product plus a generous layer of void fill, even if the customer packs it a little more roughly. 7 mm BC flute double wall board is no luxury here. On the first journey the box is tightly packed and factory-fresh; on the return it has already been cut open and taped shut again. Single wall board often doesn't have that second round in it; double wall generally does.

Frequently asked questions

How many times can the same box go back and forth?

Two to three journeys is typical. After each trip, check the four vertical corners: if they are crushed, the stacking strength has gone and the box is better off being recycled.

Can the customer reseal the box themselves?

Yes, provided you open the box along the top seam and not across the flaps. Add a strip of tape to the shipment, so the customer doesn't have to look for any.

Isn't this size too large for a single item?

For one small item, yes. This model comes into its own with contents that need space all round; for compact shipments, smaller shipping boxes are cheaper to send.
