Cardboard boxes 350 x 230 x 180 mm – double wall for A4-sized contents

An A4 sheet measures 297 x 210 mm. In this box it lies flat on the base with a few centimetres of clearance on every side – just enough to lift a stack in and out without forcing it. The internal dimensions are 350 mm long, 230 mm wide and 180 mm high. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for cardboard boxes, and this size is ordered mainly by businesses that ship paper, printed matter and documentation.

Paper is heavy. A 180 mm-high box full of catalogues soon approaches ten kilos, and that is exactly where a single wall shipping box starts to bulge. The 7 mm BC flute double wall board keeps the side walls straight, even when the box ends up at the bottom of a roll cage.

Frequently asked questions

Will an A4 lever arch file fit in this box?

No. A standard A4 lever arch file is about 285 mm wide and therefore won't fit the 230 mm width of this model. For lever arch files, choose a box that is at least 290 mm wide.

How much paper can I fit in it?

A full box of this size holds roughly ten to twelve kilos of paper. The box can take it, but bear in mind what your staff will be lifting all day long.

Should I tape the base extra securely?

With paper, that is advisable. Seal the bottom seam in an H pattern with strong packing tape, so the full load doesn't rest on a single strip.
