Lay an A4 sheet (210 x 297 mm) flat in this box and there are a few millimetres of clearance all round: just enough for stacks of paper, catalogues and books to slide in easily without being able to shift. With internal dimensions of 305 x 220 x 250 mm, this box is made for densely packed print. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for cardboard boxes, supplying this A4 size to printers, publishers and offices, among others.
The 250 mm height keeps things portable: paper quickly gets heavy, and a lower box stops you from overfilling it. If you want to stand A4 upright, the 305 x 220 x 300 mm version is a better fit.
Printers and agencies: flyers, leaflets and brochures packed straight off the press.
Publishers and booksellers: A4 books, magazines and catalogues.
Office: shipping reams of printer paper and bound reports safely.

An A4 sheet measures 210 x 297 mm; the internal size of the box is 220 x 305 mm. That leaves about 10 mm in width and 8 mm in length – enough to put paper in and take it out without creasing.
Paper is very heavy per litre. Fill the box so that one person can still lift it safely, close the base with an H-seal of packaging tape and fill any empty space at the top so the lid does not sag when stacked.
The base is the same; only the height differs, by 50 mm. This lower version is meant for flat-stacked paper, while the taller box lets you stand A4 sheets upright.
