A 280 by 280 mm footprint with a height of 200 mm gives you an almost cube-shaped box. That is exactly the shape packers like: the contents sit in the centre, there is equal space on every side and you are not busy stuffing a half-empty corner. Since 2007, we have been the go-to wholesaler for double wall shipping boxes, and this is a size that runs all year round on the packing line.

The wall is 7 mm double wall corrugated board in BC flute. Two fluted layers between three flat liners produce a box that withstands both knocks and stacking pressure. At this volume that matters: a filled box of this size soon weighs several kilos and passes over a carrier's sorting belt several times.

What is the difference from the 280 x 280 x 150 mm box?

Only the height: 200 instead of 150 mm. The footprint and board quality are the same, so you can use both sizes in the same pallet pattern and on the same packing line.

How much does an empty box weigh?

A pack of 15 boxes weighs 6.17 kg, so just over 400 grams each. Take that into account if you are close to one of your carrier's weight limits.

Are these internal dimensions?

Yes, 280 x 280 x 200 mm are the internal dimensions. The external dimensions are slightly larger because of the wall thickness on each side; allow for this with a tight shelf or roll cage.
